On Friday 15th May 1998 it was back to the Cheltenham & Gloucester College of Higher Education Park Campus Student Union Bar.

This time it was to see a tribute band to THE VERVE called THE NERVE. I was very impressed with how they seemed to recreate the VERVE sound, particularly as a lot of their tracks are heavily orchestrated.

They performed many of the hits but the most memorable was THE DRUGS DON'T WORK. By the time I had to go, I wanted more.
